What does this mean?
This is about cutting yourself some slack. In life, I want to respond, not react. But sometimes I’m not in the zone to be all calm and collected. And that’s ok.
It’s not useful to hold onto what I “should” be doing or feeling when that’s not actually what’s real for me in that moment. Instead, I let it go, feel the feelings, and return to that preferred state later, when I’m ready.
