Hi. Today’s sticky is:
Confess the unsaid thing.
Similar to Tell your truth, today’s sticky has multiple angles to consider.
Confess implies that something has been withheld, intentionally unsaid. To withhold something is to hold on, to cling. When you confess, you let go.
But what is the unsaid thing? Is it the elephant in the room, something everyone already knows but are hesitant to talk about? Or is it a secret?
Why would I want to confess the unsaid thing? Aren’t something better left unsaid? Why is that? What is the reward (or consequence) for not saying it? Because that’s what’s happening. We make decisions — sometime subconsciously — based on if we’re willing to accept the potential consequences.
Confess the unsaid thing is about letting go, sharing your truth, and accepting any consequences that may occur.
At least that’s what I think in this moment.
What do you think?
Love,
Kate
